We help research teams read journal systems, working scope, evidence and planning routes as decision inputs. The author or research team remains responsible for authorship, original data, research conclusions and the final submission decision.
Journal positioning & target matching
Indexing systems, core-journal lists and ranking frameworks answer different questions. We confirm the relevant field, research direction, article type and target before checking the applicable collection, list, category, edition and release.
SCI/SCIE coverage identifies inclusion in the relevant Web of Science collection; it is not itself a journal quartile. JCR reports category-specific ranks and Q1-Q4 quartiles. We verify the collection, category, release year, metric year and quartile for each candidate journal.

Chinese core-journal claims depend on the named list and edition. We check the applicable Peking University Core, CSTPCD, CSCD or CSSCI edition according to the discipline, and do not treat one list as proof of another.

The Chinese Academy of Sciences National Science Library ceased updating and publishing the CAS Journal Ranking Tables from 2026. Official editions through 2025 are treated as historical references only. CAS Zones and JCR quartiles remain separate systems and must not be used interchangeably.

The result is a shortlist for discussion, not a guarantee of acceptance, ranking or publication outcome.
